ABOUT CHI NEI TSANG 1
The Causes of Sickness: Organ Obstructions and Congestion in the Abdomen.
The Taoist sages of ancient China observed that humans often develop energy blockages in their internal organs that result in knots and tangles in their abdomens. These obstructions occur at the center of the body’s vital functions and constrict the flow of Chi (energy), our life-force. The negative emotions of fear, anger, anxiety, depression, and worry cause the most damage. Problems can also be caused by overwork, stress, accidents, surgery, drugs, toxins, poor food, and bad posture. Through meditative practices the sages learned to look within themselves. They discovered the internal organs connect with the Five Forces of the Universe and provide a link between the human microcosm and the universal macrocosm. The organs contain the essences of the spiritual force of a human being.
Chi Nei Tsang teaches us the way to approach the internal organs with breath, touch, and mindfulness. The practice impacts the fascia in the body improving posture and function of the organ systems. This class IS the basic class where we as students will learn this wonderful modality that addresses the "second brain" in the belly.
While the above material is self-contained and complete as is, it will also lay the foundation for additional Chi Nei Tsang, which is taught in the follow-up courses "Chi Nei Tsang Abdominal Healing Therapy 2: Winds" and "Chi Nei Tsang Abdominal Healing Therapy 3: Tok Sen" (offered alternate years).
At the end of this course, students will receive an attendance certificate which will identify hours completed in Master Chia's system, which may be used toward the certification requirements in his system.
